Organization Mission

A non-sectarian charity providing behavioral health, healthcare, and social services to all ages, faiths, and backgrounds across Greater Phoenix and Maricopa County, serving more than 50,000 individuals annually.


Age Restrictions

Varies by program; some roles (e.g., tutoring teens in the Real World Job Development Center) have both Adult and Teen Volunteer Applications available.


Application Process

Complete the appropriate Adult or Teen Volunteer Application on jfcsaz.org, then contact the Volunteer Coordinator (602-567-8383) to be matched to a role.


Description of Service

Volunteers may serve as academic tutors and classroom assistants for teens aging out of foster care (ages 16–24) in the online high school/GED program, support the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, assist older adults, or help with various family and community service programs.
