Firsthand Experience(s)
HandsOn Greater Phoenix is an amazing organization! If you sign up, (which does require a $25 fee for those over 16), you get access to a calendar where different community service opportunities around Phoenix are uploaded for each day. There are many versatile service options. HandsOn Greater Phoenix also hosts their own volunteer days and I attended a crafting day. We made cards, cut felt, and made bookmarks. This was a very fun and family-friendly activity! If you are looking for some crafty, more chill way to do service, this is perfect for you!
