ENGin Program
Organization Mission
"help a generation of young Ukrainians improve their spoken English and intercultural skills, connecting Ukraine with the world"
Age Restrictions
No minimum age is stated for volunteers — anyone who speaks English fluently can apply, from anywhere in the world. Volunteers commit to about 1 hour/week for a minimum of 10–12 weeks.
Application Process
Sign up at enginprogram.org/volunteer. No teaching experience or Ukrainian language skills are required — ENGin provides training, session plans, and matches you with a Ukrainian conversation partner online. Applicants currently located in Russia, Belarus, or occupied Crimea cannot be accepted.
Description of Volunteer Service
A global nonprofit pairing English-fluent volunteers with Ukrainian students and adults for free weekly video-chat conversation practice — entirely virtual, combining language learning, mentorship, and cross-cultural friendship.
