Dream Center (Phoenix Dream Center)

Organization Mission
"reach in and mine the potential of at-risk youth, the homeless, and struggling families by restoring hope and helping them realize a self-sufficient life"
Age Restrictions
Non-Direct-Service group volunteering: children of all ages, supervised by a parent/guardian. Direct-Service roles (interacting with survivors) require a background check and fingerprint clearance card, and are generally limited to adults.
Application Process
Complete the online Volunteer Application at phoenixdreamcenter.org/volunteer — digital orientation begins right away. Direct-service roles require a Fingerprint Clearance Card (about $70, covered by the volunteer, but reusable elsewhere).
Description of Volunteer Service
A Christian, volunteer-driven nonprofit (400+ volunteers monthly) providing life-recovery housing for survivors of human trafficking, foster youth, and people in addiction recovery, plus community engagement like meals and mentoring for at-risk families in Phoenix.
