"Sending smiles to patients one craft at a time" — a youth-run organization dedicated to creating joy and comfort for hospital patients through handmade crafts.
Age Restrictions
Not formally published; appears largely high-school student-run and popular among teens earning service hours, though not exclusively restricted to students.
Application Process
Complete the Volunteer Registration Form (linked via their Linktree/Instagram/TikTok @carecraftsproject); volunteers receive a confirmation email within 5 business days with instructions on how to participate. High schools/organizations can also apply to start a local Chapter/Club via a separate Chapter Application Form.
Description of Service
Volunteers make cards, bracelets, coloring pages, and other crafts (individually or through school chapters) that are then donated to hospitals via the organization's Hospital Request Form, brightening patients' days — volunteer hours can be logged for service-hour credit.
